2011 Suzuki GSX R600 Review
Suzuki possesses reduced a wonderful 9kg on the 2011 GSX-R600. This serps possesses far more midrange, a detailed relation gearbox in addition to intended for once, Showa Massive Piston Forks in addition to Brembo monobloc radial entry brakes. Other than several ingredients, this GSX-R600 is utterly completely new. This easy-going characteristics on the motorbike continues, although it’s crisper, far more agile in addition to there’s far more boxing techinque outside the crevices. But only if the item viewed a tad exclusive instead of glimpse just as another GSX-R for being manufactured during the last few years.
t’s ahead of time to mention the fact that GSX-R600 will probably have this test out of their time, although preceding products aren’t rather at this time there on the subject of strength when compared to it is challengers. This colour is reasonably lean in addition to prone to jewel motherboards in addition to if you hold the item with shining ailment, many ingredients can certainly eliminate the glimmer. Although consistency is usually never ever you want, this circuit areas usually are effective along with the serps unburstable.

Performance And Review Ducati 848 Evo

When you see Ducati 848 Evo maybe you think that is very difficult but
Ducati is very easy
For 2011, the 848 features N "EVO" treatment to its popular Testastretta engine and chassis. This powerful L-Twin engine is up 6 horspower to 140 and has 72.3 lb-ft torque, and is installed in the light 168 kg chassis, one thats been proven itself over and over on the 848 since its introduction in 2008.
The bike contains the usual features that makes thousands of motorcyclist eagerly seek Ducatis famed Superbike: twin under-seat silencers, single-sided swingarm, Trellis frame, race bodywork and steering damper.
The 2011 848EVO maintains the traditional colour of Ducati red with red frame and black wheels and introduces the new "dark stealth" with racing black frame and black wheels.
Ducati 848EVO Features
The 848 Testastretta Evoluzione engine:
The new 848EVO is powered by a liquid cooled, L-Twin, Desmodromic engine that produces 140hp (103kW) @ 10,500rpm and a high-accelerating 72.3lb-ft (10kgm) of torque @ 9,750rpm.
The 94mm x 61.2mm bore and stroke breathes through 4 valves per cylinder fed by totally revised inlet port shapes and racing-style elliptical throttle bodies, which are now increased in size from an equivalent diameter of 56mm to 60mm.
A brand new piston crown and combustion chamber shape improve burn efficiency and increase the compression ratio from 12:1 to a power-enhancing 13.2:1 while new performance-driven camshafts provide 13mm of valve-lift compared with 11.5mm and an inlet duration increase from 253° to 257°.
These incredible valve performances are made possible because of Ducatis unique Desmodromic system, where valve closure is activated mechanically. At high rpm it would be almost impossible for the valve to follow the steep closure profile of the cam lobe if it were relying upon a normal valve spring. With the Desmo system, the valve is closed mechanically with the same accuracy as it is opened, enabling steep cam profiles and radical cam timings. This system is used on every single Ducati motorcycle including their world-beating Superbike and Desmosedici MotoGP bikes.
Electronically injected and ignited by Marelli, the super-efficient power unit then exhausts through a lightweight 2-1-2 system equipped with a catalytic converter and up-rated to twin lambda probes for smooth mapping and Euro3 conformity. Terminating in Ducatis trademark twin under-seat silencers, the system delivers that unmistakable signature sound of the Desmo 90° L-Twin.
The highly advanced 848 engine was the first Ducati Superbike to introduce vacuum die-cast crankcases, formed using Vacural® technology, a process that achieves a significant weight saving and ensures consistent wall thickness and increased strength. For 2011 this impressively lightweight engine has its outer-cases finished in black.
The 848EVO engine is a fitting reward to Ducatis ingenuity and a clear result of the continual attention to detail and development of their twin-cylinder technology.
Having more experience and success with twin-cylinder high performance engines than any other manufacturer, the L-Twin configuration remains central to Ducatis philosophy of motorcycling. This experience, plus constant investment in quality by design, advanced materials and engineering techniques, has enabled 12,000km (7,500 miles) between service intervals, making Ducati ownership easy and enjoyable.

Perfect Motorspot appearance of Kawasaki ER 6n

Cutting Edge Style, Leading Edge Practicality Some riders like a fully faired sportbike, some don’t. But nearly all riders agree Kawasaki’s Ninja® 650R is a great, fun-to-ride middleweight motorcycle. The ER-6n simply leaves a little more of that torquey, rev-happy 650 twin’s innovative inner beauty out where you can see it, revealing this soulful machine’s mechanical purity of purpose. The ER-6n gets a vestigial flyscreen around its headlight / instrument pod, but for the most part the fairing of this “naked” style bike has gone bye-bye. This one’s for riders who love the feel of being in the wind — a particularly good thing if you mostly ride where the weather’s hot. Otherwise, the ER-6n packs all the hardware and handling that’s made it and its Ninja 650R brother such media darlings. And did we mention deleting the fairing also brings the price down substantially?
The key to the ER-6n’s slender size is its compact liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC 8-valve 649cc parallel-twin engine, which permits the use of a narrow, lightweight frame. Its fuel injection settings grant the engine plenty of bottom-end torque and smooth low-mid rpm response. Its coolant is routed to the cylinder and head through the engine cases, reducing the number of hoses and simplifying the cooling system.
The clean, size-efficient engine delivers good fuel economy and also meets stringent emission regulations, thanks to its precise fuel-injection and a three-way catalyzer system.
The non-intimidating twin-cylinder appeals to riders with its excellent mid-range and plenty of character to thrill more advanced riders. This manageable powerplant offers superb roll-on response and enables the ER-6n to fluently slice through commuter traffic or carve canyons like a skilled surgeon.
The ER-6n shares its signature trellis frame, offset laydown rear shock, swingarm, suspension and chassis with the Ninja 650R. The chassis rigidity balance and suspension settings, and the rubber upper-rear engine and handlebar mounts offer vibration dampening and lighter handling qualities. The rider and passenger footpegs are also rubber coated for a further reduction in the amount of vibration transferred to the rider. A slim and low seat further enhances the ER-6n’s natural riding position and makes reaching the ground easy for even not-so-tall riders.
Part of the ER-6n’s distinctive character comes from sharp, muscular bodywork that gives it an aggressive, dynamic persona. The ER-6n’s bodywork accentuates the frame, rather than hiding it. The angular lines and simple design flows through the frame, rear suspension and swingarm creating an integrated line running from the steering head to the rear hub. Its tall fuel tank, raked-back radiator shrouds and sharp tail cowl further enhance the bike’s front-to-back compactness. The attention to detail is evident in the ER-6n’s high-quality paint finish.
The instrument cluster is uniquely stacked with a sharp design and easy layout from the analog speedometer to the multi-function LCD screen. The instrumentation features include a fuel gauge, bar-style digital tachometer, clock, odometer and dual trip meters. Besides the rubber coating on the footpegs, the passenger also benefits from the easy to reach aluminum grab rails — nothing like a relaxed passenger to allow the rider to fully enjoy the ER-6n’s friendly ergonomics and versatile cockpit.
Quite simply, this is a motorcycle that both novice and experienced riders can be at home on and equally comfortable employing its assets to the fullest, whether it be navigating urban environs or enjoying a weekend canyon run. In other words, this real world overachiever begs to demonstrate its versatility and everyday usefulness.

2006 Yamaha R1
For 2006 Yamaha R1, the swingarm was extended by 20 millimetres (0.79 in) to reduce acceleration instability. In this year, Yamaha also released a limited edition version in original Yamaha R1 racing colors to celebrates its 50th anniversary. The model (LE/SP) featured a Kenny Roberts replica paint pattern with yellow and black paint, and front and rear custom Öhlins suspension units developed by the same team as the YZR-M1 MotoGP bike. Custom forged aluminum Marchesini wheels specifically designed for the LE shaved nearly a pound off the unsprung weight. A back torque-limiting slipper clutch, and an integrated lap timer rounded out the package, making the LE virtually a production racer. Only 500 units were made for the United States.

Ducati Hypermotard 796 Features
- Engine Features - The New Ducati Hypermotard 796 engine is a completely brand new, lightweight Desmodue power unit designed to provide the torquey, smooth and enjoyable character famous of all Desmodromic L-Twins. The APTC wet clutch gives a slipper type action that prevents destabilizing of the rear-end under aggressive down-shifting and also gives the extra benefit of a super-light feel at the lever, a great benefit in stop-start city traffic or during longer journeys. The new engine produces an impressive 81hp (59.6kW) @ 8,000rpm and 55.7lb-ft (75.5Nm) of torque @ 6,250rpm. The 2-1-2 catalytic exhaust system uses an efficient pre-silencer configuration with twin lambda probes providing finer fuel mapping and Euro3 conformity. The new crankcases hug the gearbox internals much closer to create a smaller and more compact outer profile and achieve considerable weight savings over previous cases.
- Chassis Features - The New Ducati Hypermotard 796 has an improved frame layout eliminates almost all of the forged elements used on previous Hypermotards, replacing them with precision machined components. The lightened frame retains its torsional strength to become even more agile and easier to handle than before. The rear suspension of the Hypermotard uses Ducatis signature Hypermotard single-sided swingarm. The robust solution contributes considerable engineering style and, on this type of motorcycle, is a feature unique to Ducati. 17” 5-spoke wheels by Enkei are produced in lightweight aluminium to keep the unsprung weight low and handling, braking and acceleration performances high. Suspension duties up front are taken care of by very capable 43mm Marzocchi forks, which are gripped by completely redesigned top and bottom fork clamps. The rear suspension is managed by a Sachs suspension unit featuring adjustable spring preload and return damping, allowing adjustments for riding style or load.

Suzuki B King 2012 News and Pictures Review

Meet the Hayabusas first cousin -the all-new B-King.
And while the Hayabusa is a sleek sophisticated, the B-King is its rowdy alter ego. Its aggressive styling gives it an attitude that simply says, Dont mess with me!
Featuring a slightly modified version of the 2008 Hayabusas new engine, complemented by state-of-the-art chassis and suspension systems, the B-King offers incredible all-around capabilities - breathtaking acceleration matched by precise, responsive handling.

The performance differences between the two bikes are minimal. The B-King has its own valve dimensions to produce smooth, extraordinarily strong low-end power. And it has some unique chassis components, such as its finely crafted swing arm.
The real difference, though, is styling. The B-Kings imposing engine is out there for all the world to see. One look at its twin exhaust pipes is enough to know that it has the power to reward you with a one-of-a-kind sport riding experience.
The engine is straight from the new Hayabusa and nowhere in the specifications or features do we read the dreaded "tuned for mid range power," its the Hayabusa engine in the B-King chassis. There is, however, the S-DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector), that allows the rider to choose from two different engine settings depending on riding conditions or rider preferences, perhaps the rider can choose mid range power if he wants it.

Suspension
Compliant and reasonably well balanced under your average 165-pounder, the nicely adjustable Kayaba fork and shock are a bit too soft for bigger boys who like to go fast in the twisty bits. The steering damper belongs on somebodys patio door.
Frame
The B-Kings frame is die-cast using the same technology as the latest GSX-Rs, varying wall thickness for optimal rigidity. A longer swingarm stretches the wheelbase 1.5 inches beyond a Busas, yet the King is still 7 inches shorter than Mr. Max.
Brakes
Though they generate impressive bite and feedback with nominal effort under normal riding, the Kings radial-mount four-pot calipers make you squeeze hard after a few high-speed stops. Those 310mm floating rotors came straight from the Hayabusa parts bin. ABS is a $600 option.
